I've loved baking for as long as I can remember.  My mom taught me how to make shortbread when I was eight years old, and I've been hooked on baking ever since.  A few years ago I wanted to try something new and that's when I discovered the world of decorated sugar cookies.  I immediately fell in love- a way to blend artistry and delicious baked goods all in one!

After encouragement from my friends and family, I launched The Hungry Hippo Bakery in February 2016. I  began selling cookies at some local farmer's markets and soon branched out to offering custom sugar cookie orders.  I love making special cookies to help celebrate birthdays, weddings, holidays- or even just to make an ordinary day a little sweeter!

Please note that I do not have a storefront, pick ups are from my home bakery located in north east Edmonton.
